TSgt. John L. Bowman, Jr

TSgt. John L. Bowman, Jr. (USAF Retired), 66 of Cumming passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019.  Born July 5, 1952 in Charlotte, NC, John proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years.  Following retirement, he joined DynCorp as a manager and after moving to Cumming he worked with Kroger.  John was the best husband, friend, and neighbor.  A life member of the VFW, he enjoyed gardening, going to casinos and spending time with his wife, K.C.

Survivors include his wife, K.C. Bowman; his daughter, Serena Bowman; a son, Steven Bowman; his grandchildren, Emily and Zachary Sherman; and his father, John L. Bowman, Sr.

A Requiem Mass will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, 939 James Burgess Road, Suwanee, GA 30024, www.saintcolumba.net/.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Columba’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
