Howard Wendell Bond

Howard Wendell Bond, 82, of Gainesville passed away April 23, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on March 1, 1937 in Homer, GA he was the son of the late William Howard and Mary Lou Bryant Bond. He was a retired truck driver.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bond is preceded in death by his wife, Opal Jean Joy Bond.

Mr. Bond is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Loggins of Gainesville; daughters and sons in law, Sonah and Kevin Riley of Destin, FL, Charlene and Shane Martin of Flowery Branch; sons and daughters in law, Darryl and Gwen Bond of Gainesville, Ricky and Trish Bond of Crestview, FL; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Ruth and Bethel Midgett of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Donald and Kathy Bond of Gainesville and a number of other relatives.
