Annie Lee Cagle Griffin

Obituary Date: Tuesday, April 23, 2019

Annie Lee Cagle Griffin, Age 94, of Lula passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. James Campbell and Rev. Anthony Cook officiating. Interment will be in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friend s at the funeral home on Wednesday April 24, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on January 2, 1925 she was a lifetime resident of Hall County. She was the daughter of the late Comer G and Clara Maude Baugh Cagle.
Preceded in death by her parents Comer and Maude Cagle, her sister Marjorie Cheshire, son and daughter in law, Gary and Montez Griffin.  Grandson, Jeff Smith, daughter-in-law Betty Griffin, Sons-in- Law – Jack Smith and Jimmy Pittman. 
She is survived by her children, Wayne Griffin, Charles Griffin, Dianne and Jack Hawkins, Elaine Smith, Lawanda and James Brown, Judith Pittman, Larry and Dianne Griffin, Kevin and Ann Griffin.  She had 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren and number of nephews and nieces.
She was a member of Whitehall Baptist church where she served as pianist/organist for over 60 years. 
She loved flowers, working outdoors, fishing, listening to gospel music, reading her Bible, doing puzzles and word searches and playing checkers with her grandchildren.
