Jason Burnett

Mr. Jason Burnett, age 43, of Dahlonega passed away April 20, 2019.

Jason was born in Hall County on February 22, 1976.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Homer and Bessie Edge, paternal grandparents Ester and Lizzie Burnett, and aunts Loraine Edge and Grace Edge.  Jason was a graduate of Lumpkin County High School.  He was the owner of SCC Jason Burnett Contracting.  Jason was a member of Philippi Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents Marion and Louise Burnett, Dahlonega; son D.J. Burnett, Dahlonega; daughter Jayla Burnett; son Jesse Burnett both of Gainesville; step-children Kaden Tuggle and Kai Tuggle; sisters Jennifer Burnett and Kimberly Burnett, both of Dahlonega; nieces Sara Cantrell, and Virginia Tavenal; uncles and aunts James and Hazel Edge, Ernest and Shirley Burnett, and Johnny and Judy Burnett; numerous other family and many friends.   

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2019 at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.  Interment will follow in Philippi Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Jason Fuller officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
