Eva Mae Sisk Rogers

Mrs. Eva Mae Sisk Rogers, age 72, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Eva was born in Habersham County on February 25, 1947 to the late Ellene Fain Sisk and Edwin Sisk. Eva, along with her husband, founded Rogers Ace Hardware in Cleveland, where she worked every day until her health began to seriously fail. She was a longtime and active member of Cleveland First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Sisk.

Survivors include her husband, James Rogers, Cleveland; sons, Barry Rogers, and Graham Rogers, both of Cleveland; grandchildren, Taylor Rogers, Clayton Rogers and Cole Rogers; brother, Wayne Sisk of Clarkesville; sisters, Anne Sisk of Cleveland, Bernice Ellis of Cleveland, and Carolyn Warwick of Cornelia. Eva is also survived by her father in law, Robert Rogers of Cleveland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Turner and Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow in Amy’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
