Joanne Warren

Joanne Warren, age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2019. Joanne was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey on September 18, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Riley.

On May 2, 1959 she was married to the love of her life, Walter Warren. Walt preceded Joanne in death on September 18, 2009 after 50 years of marriage.  Joanne was a very active member at St. Oliver’s Plunkett Catholic Church in Snellville, Georgia until 2017.  She then moved to Duluth to be closer to her family. She is survived by her children; Gregory (Kelli) Warren, Timothy (Kimberly) Warren, Patricia (Tod) Faerber, Richard (Odeta) Warren.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren; Kristina, Anna, Ashli, Sarah, Daniel, Riley, Aidan, Joseph, Emily, Cullen, Grace and Martina. She was blessed with great-grandchildren; Luke, Harper, Charlotte, Piper and Eloise. She is also survived by her siblings; Patricia Wiley, Nancy Knight and Martin Riley. Preceded in death by brother Eugene Riley.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on May 2, 2019 at St. Oliver’s Plunkett Catholic Church, 3200 Brooks Dr., Snellville, GA 30078. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the USO at www.uso.org or to St. Vincent de Paul at www.svdpusa.org.
