Pamela Priscilla Juhan, age 61, passed on Sunday, April 14th after a 3 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, Byron D. Juhan; mother, Margaret E. Juhan; son, Michael “Trey” Juhan Waldrop; sister, Patricia Ann Juhan Jarrard and her dearest friend, Richard Harris.

Pamela is survived by her brothers, David K Juhan, Ronnie B Juhan, Wayne B Juhan; nieces, Shane Phillips Moore, Ashley Juhan Gentry, Amanda Juhan Coletta; nephews, James “Stacy” Phillips, Austin Smith Phillips, Sean Juhan Towler, Travis Juhan Towler, Justin Wayne Juhan; Godson, Jackson Wayne Moore and many great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

In 1958, Pam was born at Emory Hospital in Atlanta https://www.emoryhealthcare.org/ . Following high school, she worked in the family business, Juhan’s Country Garden, in Lawrenceville and later work at General Motors in Doraville. Eventually, she purchased her dream farm in Warrenton, GA where she raised goats and cattle along with numerous pets included her beloved mule, Elly May.

A lifetime member of the NRA, she loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. She, like her mother and sister, was an amazing cook who enjoyed holidays filled with family and good food. Pam had the most amazing sense of humor and zest for life. She also had a strong faith in God.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Kim L and the Doctors at Augusta University’s Cancer Center (AU Health) https://www.augusta.edu/cancer/ as well as the numerous caregivers who supported her through chemo treatments and hospital stays. We also thank the wonderful nurses at Affinis Hospice http://www.affinishospice.org/ .

Also, a special thanks to her neighbors and good friends who cooked for her, prayed for her and lifted her spirits.

And to her dedicated brother, David, she couldn’t have fought so long with you, and the support of many family members.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
