Barbara Corbin Sudderth

Barbara Corbin Sudderth, age 79, of Jefferson, GA and formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Billy T. Sudderth; grandson, Owen William Sudderth; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Melillo Sudderth. She is survived by her children, Vicki and John Krish, Cumming, GA, Jane and David Smith, Flowery Branch, GA, Grant Sudderth, Dawsonville, GA and Russell and Shauna Sudderth, Maysville, GA; grandchildren, Chad Krish, Dustin Krish, D. J. Smith, Matt Smith, Brian Smith, Josh Sudderth, Emily Sudderth, Carley Sinteff, Savannah Duhon, Sammantha Duhon and Evan Sudderth; eight great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Corbin Thornton, Buford, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Gloria Corbin, Carnesville, GA and Gerald Corbin, Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Patricia Corbin, Buford, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Sudderth was born May 19, 1939 in Buford, GA. She received her education at Sugar Hill School and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Sudderth was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. She enjoyed camping. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family and also her church family. She will be missed greatly by her family.  

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Fowler, Rev. Richard Sudderth and Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday. April 15, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
