Roderick Bryan (Rock) Hill

Roderick Bryan (Rock) Hill, 57, was born on January 11, 1962 in Gainesville, GA to the late Mr. Willie R. Hill and Mrs. Doris Y. Hill. He departed this life and went to be with the Lord on Friday April 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Hill Booker and brother, Steven C. Hill.

Rock attended school in Hall County and he had a career at Fieldale Farms. He was very kind, helpful, and was well loved by his family and friends.  Rock will be greatly missed forever by many who knew him.

Rock leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Mrs. Doris Y. Hill, children, Mr. Devon Thompson and Mrs. Bria Thompson; sisters, Mrs. Melody Hill, Decatur, GA.,  Mrs. Kathy Hendrix, Gainesville, GA. , Mrs. Daphne (Garnett) Bailey, Panama City, FL.; brothers, Stanley (Gearldine) Hill, Gainesville, GA.; special  friend Ms. Millicent Dawnes, Gainesville, GA.; great aunt, Mrs. Mildred Y. Brown, Atlanta, GA. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 12 noon at the Rev. Charlie Jr. and Conchita Sims Memorial Chapel. Viewing will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 2pm-7pm. The family will receive friends from 6pm-7pm.
