Mrs. Georgia Mae Peppers was a longtime resident of Winder, Georgia. She attended Fair Street School in Gainesville, Georgia and worked as a Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Georgia Mae loved cooking huge meals for her family, caring for her beautiful plants and sitting on her porch surrounded by family and friends. Georgia Mae was proceeded in death by her mother; the late Ida Shields; father Georgia Shields; Husband Wiley Peppers and two daughters Marie Hunter and Brenda Joyce Peppers. Georgia leaves to cherish her memories her son Wiley (Martha) Lyles of Atlanta, GA; Jimmy (Alice Joyce) Peppers of Hoschton, Georgia; Betty (Early) Stephens of Gainesville, Georgia; Bobby Peppers of Gainesville, Georgia; David (Trudy) Peppers of Buford, Georgia; Joanne (Antonio) Harris of Gainesville, Georgia; George Clinton Peppers of Winder, Georgia; two sisters Catherine and Peggy Shields of Winder, Georgia. and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Austin Chapel Baptist Church, 1012 Double Bridge Road, Winder, GA 30680 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13,2019 at Austin Chapel Baptist Church between the hours of 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, family will receive friends between 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
