Frank Raper

Frank Raper, age 77, of Mount Airy, GA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2019, following an extended illness.  He went peacefully to be with Jesus with his family by his side.

Frank was born on August 11, 1941, in Gastonia, NC, to Bernice Sosebee Raper and the late Ralph Raper.  As well as his father, he was preceded in death by son, Bobby Raper; brother, Raymond Raper; and sister, Kathy Simmons. 

Survivors include, in addition to his mother, Bernice Sosebee Raper, of Mount Airy, GA;  his loving wife of 56 years, Brenda Ledford Raper, Mount Airy;  daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Kevin Holcomb, Cumming, Ga;  son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Joanie Raper, Alto, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Zita and Royce Ellis, Alto, GA and Christy and Tom Grundy, Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Jarrett and Sydney Holcomb, Jayden Holcomb, Jonathan and Sharon Banford, Dana Banford and Sagia Banford; great- grandchildren; Lily Grace Banford and Ariana Banford.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church. A visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall. Bring your favorite dish and fellowship with us.
