Ruth Elizabeth Woodall

Ruth Elizabeth Woodall, 95 years young, went to be with her extended family in heaven today, Tuesday April 9, 2019. She was at her home at North Georgia Assisted Living in Dawsonville, Ga and was with her daughter Brenda and granddaughter Lisa at the time of her passing. 

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Eugene Woodall and son Donnie Woodall and a great grandson Alexander Safier.

Ruth is survived by her daughters and son in law Brenda and Stan Harrison, Linda Safier, Sons and daughter in law David and Sarah Woodall and Ronnie and Audrey Woodall; Grandchildren Jason and Liza Safier, Lisa and Jason McCalvin, Jeremy and Ica Frazier, Eric and Ashley Safier, Steven and Sarah Woodall and Mike and Marilla Woodall and 12 Great Grandchildren. 

Ruth was better known as “Nannie”. She was born on August 7th1923 in Tennessee. At the age of 92 Ruth moved to her new home at North Georgia Assisted Living in Dawsonville. 

Ruth made friends everywhere she went and never met a stranger, she loved her family to the bottom core of her heart and was forever loyal. She will be missed by many but will also be welcomed by so many more in heaven.  

Services will be held at the Dahlonega Funeral Home on Saturday April 13th with visitation starting at 11am and service at 3pm in the chapel.
