William Terrell Brown

Mr. William Terrell Brown, age 65 of Prospect Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Eastside Medical Center, Snellville, Georgia.

A son of Nell Williams Martin and the late Marvin Terrell Brown, he was born August 2, 1953 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived most of his life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam war and worked in construction. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, Cheyenne Hudson.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Nell Williams Martin and Parks Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Jason Hudson of Toccoa; two nieces, Kaitlyn Hudson and Trinity Cornell; two nephews, Brandon and Julia Hudson and Connor Hudson.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 11, 2019, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty and The Reverend Matt Adams officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Brandon Hudson, Connor Hudson, Cole Brock, Dakota Franklin, Benny Richie, Doug Westmoreland, Tim Williams and Harold Williams.

The family will be at the home of Nell Martin, Prospect Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until the service time. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
