Allen Floyd Campbell

Mr. Allen Floyd Campbell, age 83 of Davis Avenue, Toccoa passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

A son of the late Hubert James Campbell and Mary Fowler Campbell, he was born February 18, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was employed with Buck Creek Mills for 12 years and later retired from Patterson Pump with 32 years of service. He was along time member of Toccoa Congregational Holiness Church, attended Welcome Faith Church for several years and for the last several years was a member of Gateway Community Chapel. Mr. Campbell loved woodworking and antiques. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bunia Mae Crowe Campbell, two brothers, James Campbell, Jr. and Gene Campbell and by two sisters, Lena Lawrence and Dorothy Partin.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Melvin Barrett and Rebecca and Randy Collins both of Toccoa; son, Roger Campbell of Toccoa; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brother, Cleve Campbell of Alto, Georgia; four sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Brady, Ruth Clark and Flora Adams all of Toccoa and Faye and Harold Hill of Homer, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Don Scott and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Cameron Campbell, Scott Campbell, Jason Oliver, Jeremy Campbell, Chris Ritchie and Hagan Oliver.

Entombment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Floyd Campbell.
