Bobbie Joe Roberts

Mr. Bobbie Joe Roberts age 82 of Gainesville passed away on Friday April 05, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

          Memorial services are scheduled for Monday April 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Bobby Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday April 15, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

          Bobbie was born on December 13, 1936 in Caledonia, Mississippi to the late Charles Melvin Roberts and Mamie Underwood Roberts. He worked as an industrial maintenance mechanic for Cardinal Glass Company in Buford, Ga and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard Roberts and Bill Roberts.

          Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Kay Cooper Roberts of Gainesville, son, Michael Aaron Roberts of Lula, daughter, Kimberly Greninger of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, son, Robert Roberts of Racine Wisconsin, daughter, Donna Atkinson of Racine, Wisconsin, 8 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
