Louise Margaret Sullens

 Louise Margaret Sullens, age 80 of Lula, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019.

Mrs. Sullens was born on June 30, 1938 to the late Frank and Lula Bell McGowen Blackwell.  Louise grew up in Ducktown, Tennessee and married her husband, Eugene Sullens, on December 15, 1980.  She worked in the poultry industry and was a member of Belton Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by four brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Eugene Sullens, Lula; daughters, Margaret Grindle, Cleveland, and Sheril Nix, Lula; son, Joey Nix, Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Vernon Edge, Dahlonega; sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Donna Nix, Demorest, and Greg and Pam Nix, Cleveland; sister, Alice Palmer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynn and Terry Baugh, and Mary and Steve Paul; brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Carolyn Blackwell; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Bellton Baptist Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Robert Nix, the Rev. Jason Fuller, and the Rev. Mike Franklin will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
