Jeffery Allen Pickens

Mr. Jeffrey Allen Pickens, age 56 of Homer died Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Mr. Pickens was born in Stone Mountain, GA to Carolyn Tuggle Pickens of Social Circle and the late, John R. Pickens.  Mr. Pickens was retired from the construction business.  

In addition to his mother, Mr. Pickens is also survived by his wife, Rita Crane Pickens of Homer; daughters, Laura Rose Anderson (Aaron) of Homer and Cassie Jones (Kevin) of Social Circle; four grandchildren, Ava Jones, Kaleb Jones, Makenna Jones, and Annie Grace Anderson.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, April 4th at 2:00 PM from Maysville Baptist Church with Dr. Shane Roberson and Rev. Christian Burton officiating with the interment following at Grove Level Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
