Jeanette Huff Jenkins

Jeanette Huff Jenkins, age 87, of Buford, GA, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019.  She was preceded in death by parents, Rev. Lowrey and Floy Jane Huff;  sisters Evelyn Huff, Louise Huff Burdett;  brother-in-law Travis Burdett.  Mrs. Jenkins is survived by husband of twenty-four years, Charles W. Jenkins, Buford, GA; daughter, Nancy Jenkins Hayes, Lake Wiley, SC; grandchildren, Travis Huffstetler, Stephanie Huffstetler, Wesley Huffstetler; great grandchild, Jessica Lynn Blackwelder; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Barbara Huff, Auburn, GA; nieces, Mary Burdett Haney, Braselton, GA, Sara Burdett Reed, Buford, GA, Leigh Ann Huff, Auburn, GA; nephew, Andy Huff, Atlanta, GA; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Jenkins was born August 1, 1931, in Lawrenceville, GA.  She received her education at O’Keefe High School, Atlanta, GA.  Mrs. Jenkins was retired from Cobb County School Systems, working in the cafeteria.  She also worked in APTU School Program.  Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Collins and Rev. Danny Newbern officiating.  Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetary, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the funeral home.
