Bessie Mae A Autry

Mrs. Bessie Mae Autry age 83 of Demorest passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Scenic View Nursing Home in Baldwin, Georgia following an extended illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday March 22, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Phil Miller and Reverend Paul Flynn will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday March 21, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday March 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bessie was born on April 15, 1935 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Fred Morrison and Mae Bell Morrison. She was retired and was of the holiness faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Edna Ray and brothers, Ed, Ralph, Rafe, J.T., Earl and Willie Morrison.  

Mrs. Autry is preceded in life by son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Martha Autry, stepson and daughter-in-law, Herman and Catherine Autry, special companion of 40 years, Robert Mize, grandsons and wives, Jeff and Amanda Murray, Corey and Amanda Autry, Adam and Emma Autry, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and Roberts son and daughter-in-law, Luther and Peggy Mize, their children and grandchildren.
