Charles Eugene Rider

Mr. Charles Eugene Rider, 64, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday March 19, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 23, 2019 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Waters officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday March 22, 2019 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Rider was born November 19, 1954 in Gainesville to Leonard Rider and the late Rosie Mae Harris Rider. He was a retired machinist with Prime Equipment and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Steadham Rider of Flowery Branch, son Chris Rider of Gainesville, daughter Crystal LaBorde of Gainesville, son Mark Adams of Douglasville, Son David Adams of Alabama, son Jeremy Adams of Talapoosa, son Dustin Adams of Carrolton, father Leonard Rider of Flowery Branch, mother-in-law, Sherry Steadham of Port St Joe, Florida, brother Glenn Rider of Gainesville, brother Todd Rider of Flowery Branch, sister Melanie Winkles of Flowery Branch, granddaughter Hailey Thompson of Gainesville, grandson Andrew LaBorde of Gainesville, grandson and wife Teylor and Veronica Adams of Douglasville, granddaughter Brooke Adams of Douglasville, grandson Cade Adams of Alabama, grandson Tavarus Dowdy of Gainesville, granddaughter Skyler Dowdy of Gainesville.
