Lieu Thuy Duong

Mrs. Lieu Thuy Duong age 81 of Norcross passed away on Monday March 18, 2019 at Gwinnett Medical Center following an extended illness.   

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday March 23, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Thang Nguyen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday March 22, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lieu was born on January 23, 1938 in Saigon, Vietnam to the late Bo Van Duong and Gam Thi Dinh. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. Mrs. Duong loved dancing, food and spending time with family. She was a wonderful Mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lang Van Nguyen, sisters, Mai Thi Nguyen and Xuan Thu Duong.  

Lieu is survived by her daughter, Thu-Lang Thi Nguyen of Norcross, son and wife, Thanh Duong Nguyen and Thanh- Ha Thi Pham of Winter Haven, Florida, son, Huy Duong Nguyen of Anaheim, California, daughter, Mai-Lang Thi Nguyen of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and sister, No Thi Duong of Gainesville.
