Herman Junior Gaddis

Herman Junior Gaddis, 70, of Gillsville passed away March 3, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Dunkerley and Rev. Keith Phagan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 28, 1948 in Chestnut Mountain, he was the son of the late Herman and Myrtie Viola Rider Gaddis. He was employed with Mar-Jac Poultry and a member of Set Free in Dawsonville.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gaddis is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Dooley Gaddis, brothers, Hugh Lee Gaddis, George Gaddis, Howard Gaddis, Webster Gaddis, Winfred Gaddis, Idis Gaddis and sister, Patsy Rider.

Mr. Gaddis is survived by his daughter, Janice Evans o0f Alto; brother, Charlie Gaddis of Gainesville; sisters, Rosa Lee Marsingill of Gainesville, Bertie Hatcher of Gainesville; 2 grandchildren; special friends, Richard Frazier of Dawsonville, Stanley Brock of Gillsville, Kathie Allison of Gillsville and a number of other relatives.
