Mr. Willie Michael “Midget” Mitchell, age 46, of Skyview Lane in Toccoa, Ga. passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at the residence.
A son of Mrs. Brenda Hardman and the late Willie L. Mitchell, he was born March 6, 1972 in Stephens County, Ga. where he has lived all of his life. He was employed as a forklift operator for Albatek Industrial Coatings for several years and also worked for the City of Toccoa for a number of years where he primarily worked at the Toccoa City Cemetery. Mr. Mitchell, or Midget as many knew him, attended Highpoint Community Worship Center. He loved the game of pool and was an avid player. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two aunts, Sarah Lee Wetzel and Ann Saylors.
He is survived by his wife, Kayla Mitchell of Toccoa, mother, Brenda Hardman of the home, daughter, Sandy Mitchell of the home, step-son, Ezra Mitchell of the home, two step-daughters, Alaysia and Anna Mitchell of Toccoa, his brother, Joey Mitchell of Hartwell, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Michael “Midget” Mitchell will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Highpoint Community Worship Center with Pastor Rik Wise officiating.
