Mary Louise Clark

Miss Mary Louise Clark, age 89 of Gainesville, GA, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2019 at Northlake Baptist Church in Murrayville with interment to follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.

Miss Mary was preceded in death by her parents; R.H. Clark and Sudie (Bowman) Clark. Mary was the 9th of 12 children. She was also preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Leona (Bill) Williams, Walter (Cree) Clark, Ora Lee (Henry) King, John Hazel Clark, Elmer “Red” (Maxine) Clark, Andrew (Lou Ellen) Clark, Joe (Norell) Clark, Zeb (Pauline) Clark, Hilda Clark Zears, and Amos (Louise) Clark. Miss Mary was an active member of Northlake Baptist Church for the past 30 years. She served as a missionary nurse in Zimbabwe, Africa for 35 years.

Mary is survived by one adopted son, Richard Musiyawa of Zimbabwe, Africa; two granddaughters, Mrs. Ruth Mukono (Hopewell) of Oakwood, GA and Mary Mugiano and one grandson, Mukunde Musiywa also of Zimbabwe, Africa; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Mildred Dougherty of Gainesville; and one brother-in-law, Russ Zears of Peoria, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
