Thomas Frank Alexander

Mr. Thomas Frank Alexander, age 92, of Brown Circle in Toccoa, Ga. passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his home.

A son of the late George Washington Alexander and Rosa Reynolds Alexander, he was born December 25, 1926 in Stephens County, Georgia. He lived in Hoschton, Georgia for several years and in Toccoa for the majority of his life. Mr. Alexander was retired from General Motors where he was employed for over thirty years at the Doraville, Ga. plant. He loved music. He was a singer and guitar player and member of a bluegrass band for several years.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mrs. Sarah Fowler Alexander of the home, two sons, George Alexander of Martin, Ga. and Ernest Alexander of Flowery Branch, Ga., two daughters, Diane Martin and Yvonne Garner both of Toccoa, Ga., several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother, Charles Alexander of Martin, Ga., and three sisters, Jenelle Oliver of Lavonia, Ga., Ida Fay Pitts of Toccoa, Ga., and Bonnie Jordan of Commerce, Ga.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mr. Thomas Frank Alexander will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, 5:00 P.M., at the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Adam Tripp officiating.

The family will be at the home on Brown Circle in Toccoa and will receive friends at Acree-Davis prior to the service on Saturday from 3:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
