Bobby Joe Clark

Mr. Bobby Joe Clark age 82 of West Currahee Street, Toccoa passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019 at his residence.

A son of the late Lonnie and Marie Edmonds Clark, he was born September 9, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Georgia Department of Labor. He was a member of Glade Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Clark in 2012.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Gary and Jenna Clark of Toccoa, daughter Sherry Clark of Simpsonville, South Carolina, grandchildren Taylor Clark and Austin Clark,

Funeral services will be held Friday February 15, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Glade Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Taylor Clark, Austin Clark, Steve Lathan, Harold Rogers, Jimmy Howard and Johnny Howard.

Interment will follow in Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family asked the flowers be omitted and memorials be made the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor New York, NY 10001
