Leon Nichelson

Mr. Leon Nichelson, age 74 of Vista Way, Eastanollee passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his residence.

A son of the late Clarence and Lillie Mae Flowers Nichelson, he was born November 27, 1944 in Bartow County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Franklin County. He was a retired truck driver and attended The Pointe Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Nichelson and by seven brothers.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Judith Ann Scott Nichelson; four daughters, Lori Poss of Eastanollee, Tonya Argo of Canon, Michelle Wood of Cumming and Dale Patton of Dahlonega, Georgia; three sons, Daryl Nichelson of Lavonia, Hudon Nichelson of Royston and Johnny Nichelson of Gainesville; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Nichelson of Cumming and Keith Nichelson of Alabama.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 6 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Wesley Dove officiating.
