John Michael Patton

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. John Michael Patton, age 47 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, February 2, 2019.  Mr. Patton was born in Winder, Georgia a son of Roger and Tonya Patton of Commerce, and Rachael and Roscoe Davis of Gainesville. Mr. Patton was a member of Lebanon Community Church and was a Truck Driver for Patton Trucking.  Mr. Patton is preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Patton, Grandparents; Hershel and Myrtle Brewer and Melvin and Luvine Patton.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Patton of Jefferson.  Daughter, Courtney Desiree Patton of Commerce.  Two sons; John Michael Patton II and Lucas Matthew Patton of Jefferson.  Two sisters; Joanne Murphy Kimball of Dawsonville and Kim Davis of Pendergrass.  Brother, Kevin Davis of Gainesville, step - sister, Shea Truluck of Commerce, step - brother, Blake Hill of Commerce.  Two grandchildren; Emma Nix and Koltyn Patton of Commerce.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday, February 4, 2019 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Gwendolyn Henderson officiating with cremation to follow.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
