Donna Kay Hulsey

Mrs. Donna Kay Hulsey, age 69, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Gainesville, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Randall Hulsey and Alan Hulsey will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hulsey was born March 18, 1949 to the late John Nolan & Daisy Turk Harris in Gainesville.  She attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church, was retired from Avita Community Partners and was a member of the General James Longstreet, Chapter UDC and the Colonial Dames of America.

Mrs. Hulsey is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Hulsey of Flowery Branch; son & daughter-in-law, Alan & Lori Hulsey of Flowery Branch; daughter & son-in-law, Valerie & Jason Merck of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Allyson & Miles Carroll, Michaella Hulsey, Cheyenne Thomas, Kaitlyn Merck, Kayleigh Merck and Kasey Hulsey; brother & sister-in-law, Danny & Shelia Harris of Gainesville; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Martha & James Thomas of Gainesville; and several nieces & nephews.
