Hazel Clark Martin

Hazel Clark Martin, age 86, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019.

Mrs. Martin was born on April 27, 1932, in Anderson, South Carolina; a daughter of the late Guy and Alice Langston Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Omer E. Martin; sister, Rachel LaCount; and brothers, John Clark and Ralph Clark.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Tolbert of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Wayne Brooks of Alto; granddaughter and spouse, Jennifer and John Trubach, Jr.; step-grandsons, Anthony Brooks and Jason Brooks; one great-grandchild, Leland Hix; and five step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Junior Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the funeral home.
