Sara Partain Fletcher

Sara Partain Fletcher, age 81 of Commerce, GA passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at her residence.

Born on Sept. 24, 1937 in Jefferson, GA she was the daughter of the late Sam and Gracie Mae Smith Qualls. She was the widow of her first husband, Charles Orien Partain and second husband, Howard Fletcher. She retired from SCT Yarns in Jefferson and also owned/operated her own house-cleaning company. Ms. Fletcher was a member of Victory Chapel Holiness Church and loved reading her Bible. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Partain.

Survivors include grandchildren, Leia Partain (Dustin) Tritt; great-grandchildren, Bentley Nicole Tritt and Ian Parker Tritt.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Townsend, Rev. Lonnie Bennett and Rev. Terry Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
