Willena Smith Robinson, age 92, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Raymond Wells and her husband of 16 years, Ralph Robinson. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Wells Evans, Buford, GA; son-in-law, Gary B Evans, Buford, GA; three grandchildren, Raelyn Wells (Andy) Phlegar, Marietta, GA, Deanna Wells (Doug) Stein, Pensacola, FL, and Diana Wells DelGiudice, Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Jessica (Doug) Menard, Daniel (Sydney) Phlegar, Makenzie Stein, Kyle Phlegar, Jordyn Phlegar, Riley DelGiudice, Karli DelGiudice; two great great grandchildren, Callie Menard, and Cayson Menard; one beloved sister, Carolyn Hattaway, Macon, GA, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Robinson was born February, 7, 1926 in Dexter, GA to Walter Eubena and Susie Butler Smith. She graduated in 1944 from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL. She worked for Tampa Federal Saving and Loans from 1955 to 1975 and retired. Willena meet her second husband, Ralph Robinson and moved to Buford, GA in late 1979. She remarried in 1982. She became active in the Buford Lanier Women’s Club and worked on numerous projects that benefited the community and the Tullagha Fall School. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, El Tehran Temple No. 122, Atlanta GA. There she worked on projects with the Nile that benefited the Shriners Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Williams and Mr. Ken Ledbetter officiating and the eulogy will be given by Gary B. Evans. Following the service, interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216 (www.glenhavenmemorialgardens.net). The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buford Lanier Women’s Club Charities in memory of Willena Smith Robinson.
