Ronald C. Day, age 80, of Kennesaw, Georgia formerly of Alto, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019.
Mr. Day was born on July 28, 1938 in White Pigeon, Illinois to the late Carl H. and Luella Daehler Day. He was also prceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Day.Mr. Day was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Mr.Day was a retired sales representative in the carpet industry, with over 30 years of service. Prior to his association with the carpet industry Mr. Day was employed for 20 years with the Chrysler plant in Belvidere, IL.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Pitts Day, of Kennesaw; daughter, Mary Dixon, of Cartersville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Day, Jr. and Becky, of Fargo, ND; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Cunningham and Mark, of Machesney Park, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Norman Day and Linda, of Rock Falls, IL; six grandchildren, thiirteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 2111 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA. 30068-3377, with Pastor Carl W. Schneider officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Church at 1:00 pm until the service hour on Friday.
