Marilyn Ballew Treadway

Mrs. Marilyn Ballew Treadway, age 78 of Nicholson died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Treadway was born in Elberton to the late, Lee Tom and Francis Glovena Williams Ballew.  Mrs. Treadway retired from Reliance and was a member of Nicholson Pentecostal Fire Baptized Holiness Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Treadway was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Mize.

Mrs. Treadway is survived by her children, Pete Brown of Athens, Charlotte Evans of Elberton, Rhonda Knapp of Elberton, Keith Epps of Danielsville, Kevin Epps of Hoschton, and Tammy Owens of Commerce; sister, Pat Whitfield of Hartwell; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and the love of her life Clarence Shope of Nicholson.

Funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 21^st at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 6-8 PM.
