Marvin Henry Dover

 Mr. Marvin Henry Dover, age 71 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness.      

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Thurman Parker will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Dover was born April 14, 1947 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Bud Andrew Dover and Annie May Woody Dover.  He was retired from Martin Marietta Quarry and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. 

Mr. Dover is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dover of Gainesville, his son, Edward Dover of Gainesville and his grandsons, Chance Dover and CJ Massey, both of Gainesville.
