Edward “Eddie” Ralph Nixon, age 47 of Maysville, GA, passed away Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Nixon was born July 16th, 1971 in Gainesville, GA to Gene Shelton and Kay Finley Chambers. He was of the Pentecostal faith, and was a self-employed painter.
Survivors include his parents, Gene Shelton of Comer, GA, and Kay and David Chambers, of Maysville, GA; a son, Justin Nixon of Dry Pond, GA; daughter, Destiny Duncan of Maysville, GA; and sisters, Wendy Williamson of Comer, GA and Amanda Shelton of Comer, GA.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 15th at 3:00PM in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Leon Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00PM until the time of the service.
Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
