Daniel Paul Bohmer

It is with deep sadness yet also hope that the family of Daniel Paul Bohmer announces his passing on Wednesday January 9th 2019 after a valiant battle with cancer. Daniel had recently celebrated his 67th birthday.

Daniel will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Betty and his children Rebecca and Aaron (Betty) . He was known to his eight grandchildren as Papa and will be remembered by each one as a kind and loving man who took an active role and great delight in seeing them grow into young men and women of character. He is survived by his three sisters Esther Thornton, Rosemary Shader and Sharon Madison and predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Francis Bohmer.

In life Daniel was a talented artist and carpenter who taught building construction for 31 years. He was an active member of Concord Baptist Church where he served in many capacities and was known and loved there as an engaging Bible teacher.

Visitation hours will be held at Strickland Funeral Home in Clermont Georgia, Saturday January 12th from 10:00-1:45 with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church.
