Carrie Elaine Smith

Carrie Elaine Smith, age 70, of Gainesville, GA passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She is survived by children, Michelle Major Sands, Martin, GA, Nevada Allison, Gainesville, GA, Callie Roberts, Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Amber Laws, Wyatt Allison, Scotti Allison; sister, Clarice Parks, Toccoa, GA; and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Smith was born on March 18, 1948 in Duluth, GA. She was a graduate of Milton High School in Alpharetta. Mrs. Smith was a retired sales clerk, and was a member of War Hill Church in Dawsonville, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Gregory Parks officiating. Interment will be at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
