Russell “Russ” Hein

Russell “Russ” Hein, age 56, of Buford, GA passed away Monday, January 7, 2019. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Mary P. Hein, Buford; son, Christopher Hein, Atlanta, GA; daughter, Lauren Hein (Zach) Jones, Elijay, GA; mother, Elizabeth M. Hein, Monroe, NC; sisters, Susan (Jim) Prudhomme, Monroe, NC, Beth Hein (Robert) Butler, Snellville, GA; brothers, James (Beatriz) Hein, Woodstock, GA, William (Janet) Hein, Matthews, NC; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Hein was born on January 23, 1962 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a 1980 graduate of Henderson High School in Atlanta, and a 1984 graduate of Southern Poly Tech with a Bachelor’s degree. Mr. Hein was a service engineer, and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held  on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6439 Spout Springs Road, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winship Cancer Research Center, c/o Emory Hospital in memory of Russell Hein.
