Mary Virginia Lewis

Mary Virginia Lewis, age 68, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam B. and Mary P. Lewis. She is survived by her sisters, Sara Beth Lewis Mosca, Pasadena, MD and Penny Lynn Lewis Stettler, Oakwood, GA; brother, Sam and Jeannie Lewis, Woodstock, GA; nieces and nephews, Shannon Mosca, Stephanie Pingel, Holly Lewis and Marty Heller, Suzanne Lewis and Nicholas Rienstra and Colleen Sisson, John L. Masca, and Jacob P. and Kaylan Lewis, and Campbell Sisson; and several great nieces and great nephews. Ms. Lewis was born on December 26, 1950 in Charleston, SC. She was a 1969 graduate of Lakeside High School in Decatur, GA. She was a retired dental assistant. Ms. Lewis was a member of McEver Road United Methodist Church in Oakwood, GA where she was a former member of the church choir. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at McEver Road United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Bruce officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the McEver Road United Methodist Church, 3606 McEver Road, Oakwood, GA 30566 in memory of Mary Virginia Lewis.
