R. L. Keheley

R. L. Keheley, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away on January 4, 2019.

Mr. Keheley was born on March 16, 1931 in Lawrenceville, Georgia to the late Clarence and Annie Mae Graham Keheley. R. L. served in the Army during the Korean Conflict as well as he was a Avondale Estates Police Officer, a DeKalb County Fire Fighter and went on to retired after 30 years from General Motors. Mr. Keheley is preceded in death by his brothers Junior Keheley, Pete Keheley and sister Agnes Hencks. Survivors include his wife of 59 years and the love of his life, Betty Anne Keheley; son, John Keheley; daughter, Tamma Keheley-Smith; daughter-in-law, Alice Keheley; son-in-law, Thad Smith; 3 grandchildren, Hannah Keheley, Lauren Keheley and Addison Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Thad Smith and Rev. Duncan Locke officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10th from 11:30 a.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m.
