Thomas Monroe Holton

Thomas Monroe Holton, 73, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. James Myers and Rev. John Rayburn officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 19, 1945 in Atlanta, GA he was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Proctor Holton. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Holton is survived by his wife of 47 years, Evelyn Gail (Hood) Holton; daughter and son in law, Amber and Maurice Ericson of Gainesville; grandchildren, Chathan Holton, Delilah Ericson, Sawyer Ericson; brother, Charles Gilmer Holton of Maryland; mother in law, Sarah Hood of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
