Maudell Smallwood Adams

Maudell Smallwood Adams, age 84, of Murrayville died on Jan. 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Wahoo Baptist Church in Murrayville, Ga., Rev. Mark Wheeler, Rev. Ken Anderson and Rev. Les Fuller will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan, 4, 2019, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan 5, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Clermont, Ga.  Maudell was born in Hall Co., June. 6, 1934, to John and Monteen Edge Smallwood. She married David Adams on Jan. 6, 1951. She was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church.
Maudell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David Adams; three sons, Jerry Adams, Jackie Adams and Johnny Adams; her granddaughter Hannah Adams; her sisters, Ruth Smallwood, Ruby Smallwood and her brother Bobby Smallwood. She is survived by her son, Jarvis Adams and his wife Teresa; her grandchildren Scott and Lisa Adams, Christie and Mike Ragano, Karen Horton, Tim Adams, Brett Adams, Shannon and Paul Furnas, Josh and Selena Adams; her sister and brother-in-law Cassie and Aaron Gilleand, sister Carolyn Cain, sisters-in-law, Carolyn Smallwood, Juanita Adams, Jean Clark; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Louise and Junior Garmon.  She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
