Alice Anne (Vernon) Boland

Alice Anne (Vernon) Boland was born on May 18, 1959 in Roanoke, Virginia to James and Beverly (Jessen) Vernon. She passed from this life to the next on January 1, 2019. Alice is survived by her two sons John Adam and Gerald Boland, her mother, Beverly, her brothers and their wives, Jamie and Stacey Vernon, John and Paula Vernon, her sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Robert Newton, brother-in-law and his wife Phillip and Pam Boland, sister-in-law and husband, Jerry and Dale Thompson, as well as numerous nephews and nieces, and a loving church community at Cumming Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Boland, a stillborn daughter, her father, Jim, and her sister Christy Vernon.  

Alice spent her life caring for her two sons, often making personal sacrifices to do whatever was necessary to provide for them. She loved taking them to Florida on vacation and to family get-togethers. Your continued prayers for her family are deeply appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Tri-cities Church, 2619 Ben Hill Rd., East Point, GA 30344.
