Jimmie Lou Pittman

Jimmie Lou Pittman of Maysville passed away January 1, 2019 following an extended illness.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Stone officiating. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born in Maysville, GA, Miss Pittman was the daughter of the late Rache and Mamie Pittman. A graduate of Piedmont College, she was a school teacher at Maysville Elementary School. She was a member of Unity Christian Church in Maysville.

Miss Pittman was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Whelchel and Hazel Hudgins and brother, Eugene Pittman.

Miss Pittman is survived by one sister, Lucille Martin and a number of nieces and nephews.
