Louis Vines

Louis Vines, age 77, of Buford, GA, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018.  He went to heaven to be with his wife of thirty-seven years, Helen Brown Vines.  Mr. Vines is survived by his sister, Bennie Lou Vines Smith, Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Thomas W. Vines, Decatur, GA; niece, Rebecca (Marvin) Tanner, Winder, GA; host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was born May 18, 1941, in Lawrenceville, GA.  He was a retired correctional officer from Gwinnett County Correctional Institution, Lawrenceville, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018, at 3:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Rev. Ann Maxey Vines officiating.  Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.
