Hugh Totherow

Hugh Totherow, 58, of Gillsville passed away on December 30, 2018.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.

Born on September 8, 1960 in Atlanta, GA he was the son of the late Donald and Lorretta Butts Totherow. He was a supervisor with Vulcan Rock Quarry. Mr. Totherow was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He was a loving father and a great friend who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Totherow is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Carter Totherow.

Mr. Totherow is survived by his daughter and son in law, Mindy and Keith Mosser of Jefferson; son, Tyler Flint Totherow of Gillsville; brothers, Tony Totherow of Gainesville, Nathan Totherow of Brooklyn, NY; sister, Raelene Geer of Tuscaloosa, AL; brother, Joe Ivester of Blairsville, GA; sister, Sara Phillips of Commerce and 5 grandchildren, Kennedy, Jackson, Carter, Grant, and Pierce Mosser.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
