Henry Bailey Minor

Henry Bailey Minor, 86 of Cleveland passed away Saturday December 29, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Hall County, Mr. Minor was the son of the late Hugh P. Minor, Sr., and Lois Martin Minor.  He had lived in White County for a number of years and was retired from AT&T.  Mr. Minor was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Margaret Minor, Cleveland; children; Phillip and Nita Minor, Lula; Gary Minor and Chyrl Waldrip, Gainesville; Gayle and Royce Martin, Gainesville; Gregory Minor, Augusta; grandchildren, Brian Martin, Cleveland; Branon Martin (Kate), Hoschton; Ben Martin (Kayleigh), Gainesville; Nathan Minor (Sarah), Oakwood; Lamar Minor (Jacqueline),  Cleveland; 20 Great Grandchildren; sister, Olivia Whelchel, Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Sandra Savage, Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Ann Burtz, Cleveland. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Minor is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Matt Minor and two brothers, Hugh P. Minor, Jr. and Everett Minor.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 3, 2019 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
