Charles Mote

Charles Mote, age 83, of Good Hope, GA passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucy Nell White Mote; and ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his brother, Phillip Mote, Heard County; sisters, Patsy Clark, Statham, GA and Denell Whitmire, Gainesville, GA; extended family of thirty-five years and caregivers, Tony and Christine Ethridge, Good Hope, GA; grandchildren, William Ethridge, Good Hope, GA, Shannon Ethridge, Good Hope, GA, Scott Ethridge, Good Hope, GA and Penny Ethridge, Good Hope, GA; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Mote was born February 1, 1935 in Gillsville, GA. He was a painter. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
