Margie Nell Gibbs

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ward’s Funeral Home for Margie Nell Gibbs, 71, of Gainesville. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gibbs passed away December 24, 2018.

A native of Hall County, Mrs. Gibbs was the daughter of the late Ernest and Tommie (Hicks) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Gibbs, Sr., son, Johnny Lee Gibbs, Sr.; daughter, Marjorie Ann Gibbs; brothers and sisters, George Smith, Alice Pirkle, Dewey Smith, Billy Smith, Martha Maynor, Milton Smith, Clayton Smith, Sr., and Bobbie Smith.

Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Ricky Lee and Teresa Gibbs, Terry Lee  Gibbs, Sr., and Harold Lee and Jacquelyn Gibbs, Jr.; grandchildren, Kelly Gibbs, Terry Lee Gibbs, Jr., Johnny Lee Gibbs, Jr., Morgan Lee Gibbs, Cody Gibbs and Jessie Lee Williams; step grandchildren, Yvette Coggins, Alexander Coggins and Michael Bills; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Sue Griffith, Pell  City, AL. and Linda Davis, Alto.
